Review: STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY.Darryn is very chatty and tries to be friendly to earn your trust until you sign the contract. During contract he is trying to screw you and insurance company by adding items to contract and telling you "don't worry insurance will pay this" after insurance refuses he says it is in contract and it is your problem.His crew are incompetent, the guy using nail gun goes all around the roof and nail the Edgers while nails all are half way driven without noticing (picture).They put starter shingle ON the gutter and create curve at edges so water will accumulate in front of gutters(picture).Darryn acts and talks like he is very experienced but he told me he is doing roofing for just about FOUR years. He never goes to look at the finished roof himself all he does forwards the pictures which he gets from crew to you and insurance company, and says it looks great. I had those pictures also till after a week I decided to look at roof myself.If you hire this guy either you have to know about roofing real good OR you need hire inspector to check the details , like my case will be after the fact.I bet none of those five star rating guys never gone on roof to see for themselves. All those pictures are sent by the crew to him and he is just forwarding to others.He likes to descount insurance deductable but he is not alone.

Review: We ere extremely pleased with our experience with Duration Roofing.The roof repair went off without a hitch. Work was completed in one day, with no issues. The finished roof looks really nice, and the crew did a fantastic job with cleanup.Our rep was Paul; he was punctual, communicative and knowledgeable - everything you need in a contractor. He made contact with me within a day of my initial inquiry, and work started within 10 days of signing of the contract. Paul was very patient with me while I dithered over the options. He walked me through the entire process of how the insurance claim works, what steps needed to be taken, what upgrade the insurance allowed and what upgrades/improvements the company provides as part of their normal business practice.We are very glad that we chose to work with Duration Roofing and with Paul, and we highly recommend them.

Review: Duration Roofing was recommended by a neighbor and Darryn was friendly and easy to work with. The crew was quick and cleaned behind themselves fairly well to. He was even able to coordinate gutter replacements too. We are happy with the work and the price.

Review: This is a locally-based company. I made the mistake of working with one of those transient outfits back in 2010, and was not going to make that mistake again.Excellent work and customer service. I worked with Paul, and he is as focused on doing the job to the customer's satisfaction as I've ever seen. Some quick notes:- The crew showed up before 8 a.m. and worked till nearly 8 p.m., finishing the job. The last roofing job in 2010 took over a day.- Paul returned calls and texts promptly. He showed up when he said he would.- He listened to and answered questions clearly and thoroughly.- He spent a good amount of time on the job site. This has not been the case with previous large-scale home projects, leaving me with a bunch of hardworking dudes who don't speak any English and can't help with questions.- At the completion of the job, they swept, ran magnets over the grass, and blew out the gutters. Since they finished in the dark, Paul sent some folks out the next day to perform a second magnet sweep, just to be thorough. Nice.- Paul did a thorough walk-around inspection with me the day after the job was completed.- Without being asked and free of charge, Paul replaced some cement board trim on my chimney that had been broken off during a store a couple of years ago. Amazing.Special note: I was irritated because some small shrubs along the front of my house were being treated roughly by the workers. After the job was completed and the shrubs survived with just minor damage, Paul informed me that he had come up with an rigid frame apparatus he will have available for future jobs to protect shrubs. Who does that!? Brilliant.I have always dreaded any projects involving contractors over the years. No-shows, price gouging, shoddy work, surly and difficult employees, etc. This was, by far, the most positive experience I have ever had with any kind of home repair/upgrade.100% full endorsement from me. Best I've worked with. It's only a matter of time till Central Texas weather necessitates another new roof, and Duration Roofing will be the people I call.

Review: Darren Shapek' s Duration Roofing & Construction come highly recommended to me by a good friend. I had to get my roof and a solar panel replaced after a terrible hail storm. Paul, the project manager helped me with getting my insurance claims submitted and working with the Solar company get the panel replaced. The job was done quickly and efficiently.These guys are THE BEST!
